The Student Charter & Me

The RMIT Student Charter consists of the four core values which RMIT have implemented as part of their strategic plan; ‘Transforming the Future’. These four values are; to be creative, connected, fair and passionate. The charter spells out the responsibilities of both the staff and students in order to encompass these values.

I have created this blog as part of the RMIT course ‘Networked Media’, and will be blogging thoughts and summaries of the workshops and lectures attended, as well as personal reflections on assignments completed. The Student Charter and my blog work hand in hand, the charter states one of it’s purposes is to ‘foster in students the skills and passion to contribute to and engage with the world’, as well at to ‘be fully committed to your own learning, the decision you take in relation to it, and challenges involved. My blog fully encompasses both these responsibilities as I have been given the freedom to take this task upon myself and do with it what I wish. I am taking the opportunity to use this platform to reflect upon my learning and gain the most out of the course as I possibly can.
